Which Generac fits your home, in plain language
The viewer below is Generac’s own product guide. Here is the short version Delta walks homeowners through before anything is ordered. Every capacity figure is Generac’s published specification, and a Delta specialist confirms the sizing on site.
Air cooled standby, Guardian series
The generator most Delta homes end up with. Guardian units run from 10 to 26 kW, start themselves within seconds of an outage through an automatic transfer switch, run on natural gas or propane, and report status to your phone through Mobile Link. A 22 or 24 kW unit covers a typical three to four bedroom home including central air; smaller homes or essentials only setups sit lower in the range.
Liquid cooled standby, Protector series
Large homes, estates and light commercial buildings that need more than an air cooled unit can deliver move to the Protector series, 22 to 60 kW. Liquid cooling suits long run times and heavy loads such as multiple air conditioning systems, well pumps and electric vehicle charging at once.
PWRcell battery storage
PWRcell stores energy from the grid and releases it when the power drops or when rates are highest. It can stand alone or pair with a standby generator so the battery carries short outages silently and the generator takes over for long ones.
EV charger and ecobee thermostat
Generac’s Level 2 home charger adds fast overnight charging on the same electrical work Delta already performs, and an ecobee smart thermostat trims heating and cooling costs and integrates with the rest of the system.
Which one fits my home
